Create a Shortcut for your Gtalk contacts

You can create a shortcut for your Gtalk (Google Talk) contacts on your desktop (Windows desktop).

Next time you want to quickly reach a bunch of important Google Talk contacts,
you can access them faster and more easily.

Just click on the desired shortcut and you will find a chat window open with the associated Friend.
Follow the steps:

1. Right-click on your desktop, this will open the context menu.
2. Move your mouse over New and select Shortcut.
3. When prompted to input the location of the item, insert the following:
gtalk:chat?jid=username@gmail.com

4.Press ok and you will see the icon on your desktop.

Use multiple Login (Diffrent id's) at the same time on Google Talk

Want to run Google Talk with multiple Gmail id's? If you have several Gmail accounts you also may want to run multiple instances of Google Talk This is especially important for families that share a single PC. Nothing worse than a family member signing you out so they can sign in under their own account!
Basically, to have "Google Polygamy" you need to run Google Talk with the following switch: /nomutex
Step1: Right-click on the desktop
Step2: Select New
Step3: Select Shortcut
Step 4: Paste this into the text box:
"c:\program files\google\google talk\googletalk.exe" /nomutex

Step 5: Click Next and choose a shortcut name such as Google Talk1, Google Talk2, or something related to your Gmail account for easy remembering which account is which.
Step 6: Click OK. :D :D
